>> My name is Amelia Ribnick Kleinman [assumed spelling] and I am a fundraiser for the American Committee for Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, and I handle the whole Texas region. Shaare Zedek Medical Center is a hospital in Jerusalem; it's actually the fasting growing hospital in Israel. We are an academic medical center as well with it being a teaching hospital for two of the five major medical, well two of the five medical schools in Israel. So as a fundraiser, I've been in fundraising now 21 years, my role is to raise awareness as well as raise dollars, and in order to do that I have to meet with potential donors, perspective donors and talk to them about what we do and why it's important for them to give donations as well as time and their resources, their talent to volunteer. I meet with community leaders who may be they're not giving a gift but they have access to people who would be needing to become aware of who we are and what we do. And so my day involves both phone conversations, emails, face to face visits, doing research on perspective donors or perspective individuals that I would need to meet with, educating myself in the fundraising profession and just being a good steward for the dollars that we are getting.
