What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with MSL teamates to research innovation solution for AI/ML workload
Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters 3 days per week on Monday/Tuesday/etc., with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time
Reports to: Staff Engineer, System Architecture
- Collaborate with other researchers in the team to develop innovative memory solutions for AI/ML workload.
- Performance profiling of GPU/GPU/Accelerator system to analyze the bottleneck
- Characterize device performance and identify architecture trade off between memory and computation.
- Design simulation models for new architecture solution and collect data for publication.
- Generate research patent/IPreport/publication and give talks on the learning.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- Pursuing PhD in CS/ECE
- Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining of computer architecture
- Required knowledge, achievements, and skillsets of C/C++, AI/ML framework, hands on experience with CPU/GPU server hardware.
- Preferred skills publication and research experience in SW/HW co-design, FPGA acceleration
