As a Video Analysis and Charting Associate in Player Development, your work is vital to uncovering valuable insights that help shape the organization’s future — influencing strategy, decision-making, and performance to build the optimal conditions for talent to thrive.
You will work on every aspect of the video pipeline, including analyzing footage to generate new sources of data for research, analysis, and presentation.
In this role you will:
- Regularly communicate with the Director of Player Development to align on priorities and tasks
- Analyze and chart game and practice video
- Generate large and sophisticated datasets
- Communicate and present findings
- Develop impactful reports, presentations, and ongoing results
- Collaborate on new research opportunities across various functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Commitment and a passion for basketball and sports
- Readily accessible and responsive to communication and requests
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks or projects to completion independently
- Ability to deliver outstanding work product on time
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey clear and effective messages to various partners
- Experience with video analysis platforms such as Hudl, Sportscode, Creator, etc. is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Additional details:
This is a paid, remote, part-time position reporting into the Insight & Foresight pillar. The work schedule may include working on short notice as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Total work hours will not exceed 29 hours per week.
