First Presbyterian Church in Branson, MO (ECO) is searching for someone experienced in choral conducting both rehearsals and performances, preferably in a worship service setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be responsible for directing choir rehearsals and Sunday worship.
Plan and direct rehearsals for Sunday and special worship services which may include adult choir, handbell ensemble, instrumentalists and/or special groups.
Communicate worship plans in a timely manner to the Pastor, appropriate office staff, lay leaders, organist/pianist and worship participants.
Help pick out appropriate hymns and responses.
Plan special music and guest artists.
TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 15 hours/weekly
COMPENSATION: Based on experience
FPC Branson is also searching for a full-time Worship Arts Director.
FPC Branson is affiliated with ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. The person hired will need to affirm and agree with the Essential Tenets of ECO and have a personal commitment and testimony of faith in Jesus Christ that falls in line with ECO’s theology.
