Overview: The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for answering phone calls promptly while managing other office tasks as assigned. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in coordinating and tracking deliveries, service calls, or transportation activities.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch service requests.
- Perform additional office tasks as assigned to support daily operations.
- Communicate clear and accurate instructions to drivers or field staff.
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and update systems with real-time information.
- Utilize dispatch software and communication systems to track personnel and asset status.
- Adapt to changing schedules and priorities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in dispatching preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented and dependable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and dispatch software.
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust to a fast-paced environment.
