Student farm worker will assist with caring for livestock, helping with research plots and assist with a variety of research projects. This position will work some weekends caring for livestock, and will work in all weather conditions.

PURPOSE: Assist with IPM-related field research work at Busby and Carver farms. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Scouting insects, setting up and collecting insect traps in field plots, microscope magnification, assisting in collecting samples from the field, identifying and counting insects under a stereomicroscope, following safety guidelines, and other duties related to pest management field research.
